My recollection was that Bronco decided the team needed more time to be with spouses, do church work, community service, etc. instead of practice. Practices were cut 30-45 minutes each day vs. allowable time by the NCAA.
Due to no Sunday practice (probably minimal/no film study, even) we already lose a half-day of practice compared to our opponents.
Cutting 30-45 minutes a day for 5 days, means an additional 2.5 hours per week less than our opponents.
Between Sunday non practice and shorter practices, we, essentially, miss a full day of practice compared to our opponents.
Bronco's standard response after as loss is "we didn't execute". Okay, how do you improve execution?
(class, repeat after me: "_________________ makes perfect." )
We don't need to practice on Sundays. But,when you already have given up that to the opposition, don't add to it by cutting or eliminating practice.
My work is 5th priority to me. but, i spend more time on it than any of the other higher priorities. I would suspect anyone on CB can analyze their week and realize that is the case. Priority doesn't necessarily have to equate to time spent.
