No. It did not lead to fewer and shorter practices.
Bronco does and always has used all of the allowed practice/film time that the NCAA permits - including during bowl season. The only thing he has done is shorten an occasional practice for a team event or because the team has worked really hard in practice.
Bronco is well known (and documented) for extremely hard practices.
