I do suspect we need to do something about the OC
Anae clearly has weak points, and adapting seems to be one of those issues. I'm not sure how much of that also applies to Bronco, though Bronco does seem to do quite a bit of adapting in his defensive schemes -- see the difference between Nebraska and UCLA games.

Beyond yesterday, we have the younger brother of arguably the best BYU receiver of all time who chooses to transfer to Hawaii -- that family (who is in position to know) says that Anae is horrible as far as the number of routes receivers run, that he only has a handful. We have heard this from others, as well.

What I'm seeing around college football is that OCs who cannot adapt are being replaced. Two prime examples I can think of: TCU, where they vaulted into national prominence last year in large part because of replacing the OC; and at Oklahoma, who fired the OC (who is now at Utah State) to bring in an East Carolina coach to help their offense compete with TCU and Baylor.

Overall, I like Anae. But I'm increasingly thinking that we need to get someone more agressive to replace him; someone who can adapt to different opponents and defenses.
