the defense time to adjust or rest. You can't argue with that.

I just thought about this too - Our offense is designed to pick up later in the game as the "runs up the middle" free up other things. Losing Heine kind of ruined that. Carter just doesn't have the game to make the defense react.

Also, I think fatigue and injuries limited anything we could do.
