Michigan corners were more physical. BYU WR had the advantage over those other corners. As for a WR, you use hands to get separation. Yes, that is Football 101, it is taught at college and in the NFL. Some very good HS programs also teach this.

You don't need to have a SR QB be the only one to make that throw...WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. Tanner was making those types of throws in the AA bowl game.

So again, those routes are thrown over and over again in practice...for a very good reason. BYU WR are soft, they simply aren't physical enough to get leverage...Ben Cahoon, master of getting crisp routes and hands to stop DB from jamming.
