would attack corners on point and using hands fight off then cut. As soon as your WR is open on a slant and the play call is to that WR, you throw it. Oline, like ALWAYS has to protect. That is FOOTBALL 101.

No doubt Michigan corners were holding BUT as soft as the BYU WR are, you have to take it to those B1G corners and establish you want a fight, you got one. As soon as the ref sees that okay, BYU WR are fighting cleanly, then the calls would come.

But BYU WR didn't do ANYTHING SPECIAL to get separation from the corners...

So yesterday game based on your knowledge of all things football was

1. Injuries (all of them didn't happen in the first quarter or half)
2. Fatigue (because of wo is me, travel to different time zones...)

Yeah, never mind that offense adjustments weren't made.
