Let's break this down...
Corner is playing man coverage, is about similar size as your WR AND is physical. You play a crossing route with the man coverage to loosen that coverage...and guess what...a simple pass across the middle WORKS.

You can do this with a TE or another WR. It isn't difficult thing to do AND it doesn't require ONLY SR QB to make that throw....

Tanner threw crossing routes in HS, at Elite 11 camps..

You teach YOUR QB and WR to run those routes, regardless OF class....

We call this FOOTBALL 101. Seasoned OC know this, they DO THIS...they don't setup their QB to FAIL because they think they are too young to learn...that is the worse example of babying a QB in ANY system.

3 - 5 step drop and boom. Now you are at 2-5.Line up quickly, go
