You can't run in the middle
when Michigan LB have gap assignments and are physically out manning the BYU Oline. Physically, Ului can match toe to toe, but Ryker and Tejan were owned. Offense didn't adjust their game plan and HAD they, they would of moved the ball down the field, thus giving defense a much needed rest.

No offensive change by Anae to say, okay, I've got to bring in a TE and I have to start using him would of relived the pressure. Losing Hine to ankle injury is HUGE...absolutely HUGE, but you can use Carter in space, so, put him in motion and let him cross routes...

As the OC, you have to adjust, you cant' sit back and be stubborn with your offense saying well, things will get better in the fourth period...You can't let the defense down like that. Too much on the defense and not enough pressure from BYU offense.
