Here is my question to you
It seems your argument is that you play to win, and I get that. So what does independence offer that a conference wouldn't? In a conference you still have the pride to just win the game and a conference offers so much more. If independence offer so much there would be more then 4 independents in college football. And when I say 4 Navy is joining a conference and ND had a agreement with the ACC.
