That assumes both teams stayed relatively healthy. 2004 had an innovative offense and Alex Smith was extremely good at running it. 2004 had 1 really good olineman and they ran behind him every time they needed a yard - I think USC and others would have figured that out. 2004 team was not deep. 2009 won 2 games by the skin of their teeth (OSU and TCU) and I have a hard time believing they would have rolled thru the PAC.
