The issue has less to do about Utah's P5 status and more to do with
the status of BYU fans -- whom Utah shares the local media with.
Beating Utah this year would be the most celebrated win since OU or maybe even all the way back to Miami.
Ask the BYU base, if they legitimately could, what would they be willing to trade or give up if it meant beating Utah this year. I think the answers would be fascinating.
The next question is why does a win over Utah -- a mediocre P5 team (to put in BYU terms) -- mean so much?
