I don't disagree...
But Seminary in particular is either during the school block or else early morning, it doesn't really interfere with sports so they are getting that regardless. If you choose not to play sports on Sunday then they are getting their Sunday block of meetings, as well as Firesides which I for got to mention in my last post, and of course all of their other Sunday church requirements. Frankly they get as many, if not more, opportunities for church involvement than they do sports.

I personally think the church has gone overboard in what it wants as a level of involvement for all of us. I have no problem with my kids missing Mutual, or some combined activity, or any other similar thing to play sports. They have only very occasionally done any sports stuff on a Sunday, in fact I can only think of two times in both of my sons sports careers that they've played anything on a Sunday, but I won't ever make them miss a weekday of Saturday sports event for a church activity. There are still plenty of church activities they attend, they're not lacking in those opportunities.
