This thinking is what made changes to NBA rules/officiating so no defender can look sideways at an offensive star going to the hoop without getting a foul. Guess what, it actually slowed the game down(foul shots), didn't make it better. Your new breed/batch of players don't like to defend for this very purpose, you negated the skill and altered the game just so some ADD fan can pay better attention....even though they are on their phone regardless of watching the game in person or on TV.
