side whose story takes longer to come out because they generally have more to lose in a mud fight.
My autistic kid is getting general anesthesia for a couple of cavity fillings in a couple weeks. Kid is 5 years old but not speaking yet. Even if they could force him into a chair for a procedure it would be extremely traumatic for him. It was a nightmare just getting his hearing tested. Had to get him sedated and even that only sort of worked.
Feels weird to be paying for this because I prefer more conservative dentistry. (My only root canal was thanks to an aggressive dentist who screwed up my only crown, which probably wasn't even necessary.) In my son's case, it is necessary. Poor kid is in pain and his OCD tendencies are making him miserable.
