parents would admit that. It saddens me when a parent's philosophy is "I'll wait until my child's tooth is in pain before I treat it." What kind of parenting is that? Wouldn't you rather spare them the pain by treating the tooth before it hurts? If a foot shows signs of infection, is the common philosophy "I'll wait until it's worse?" No! It's "let's fix this." I won't go into all the details because I don't want to write an essay and you probably aren't that interested, but there are many many good reasons to treat a tooth early than wait. And there is usually only reason to not treat: money. Yes, there are greedy dentists out there just like lawyers, doctors, mechanics, teachers, politicians, and ministers. There are greedy people in every profession because many people are greedy. I know you want what's best for your kid while also not having to fork out dough. I see it every day.
