I'm sure he'd think he was being tortured if we just held him down for a local anesthetic procedure.
It's a SLC dentist and the procedure will be done at Primary Children's. My wife would know the name. She likes him because he is a little more conservative. The first cavity he was able to do really quick on an office visit rather than make a big production out of it like another dentist was suggesting. I don't think he even gave the kid shot. Just drilled and filled it real fast. I assume the tooth was close to the front.
This one he noticed 6 months ago and recommended we should wait 6 months and see how it progresses. It has softened in the mean time so he decided to schedule the OR.
We had a pediatric dentistry resident living in our basement who knew these guys. He liked them and said we are probably a good fit philosophically. If you are along the Wasatch front I'll mention you to my wife in case she wants to look you up. She might be interested in going to someone who works with autistic kids a lot. We've got two autistic kids, ages 3 and 5, so we'll be around for a while.
