I think things look promising as you have pointed out. It would be so awesome if everything worked out but I've been a BYU fan too long. I'm to the point where its well beyond "Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me." It's now fool me dozens of times shame on me.

We could escape injuries this year, we could have players that are much improved (including Dastrup, Shaw, Andrus, Nixon), we could have a much improved defense, we could have a much improved half-court offense, we could get back into the NCAA tournament with more than a play-in game.

I hope most of those things happen but I am not going to count on it. I'm going into this season expecting the worst case. I refuse to be let down again.
