Or work in summer sales. Mormons don't buy.
I remember working for Vivint for a few summers and I dreaded running into members of the church. It was the opposite of my mission where I loved running into them, haha. I remember one family in Missouri in particular...the dad was skeptical that Vivint was a legit company (this was in 2012 before Vivint became the recognizable name it is now). I noticed his son was wearing a BYU Football t-shirt with the Vivint logo on the back, so I called him over and pointed out the logo to him. He still was skeptical, and ended up sending me on my way. I couldn't believe it. From that day on, I always dreaded trying to sell to Mormons. They were definitely one of the hardest demographics to sell to. And I also committed to myself that I would always hear a salesman out if he came to my door and buy from him if it was a legit product...and I have! I bought my Comcast XFinity from a door to door guy and I got a sweet deal!
