Obviously the schedules are trending in the right direction. Some people like to say we could just schedule 4 P5 games if we were in a G5 but show me one G5 program that is able to do that. And the trend shows our schedules being filled with 6 or more P5 games which would be impossible to do in a G5.
Yes we need at least 8 P5 games. I think we can get there. 2021 has 7 with room to add more. It would not even be an option in a G5.
I think people just need a little patience. Going independent has been frustrating and it’s a huge project. It will take time but all the signs (other than on field results) are pointing in the right direction.
But again I ask, how would going G5 improve anything?
