The schedules aren’t where they need to be but look in the near future
2018:
@Arizona
Cal
@Wisconsin
@Washington
@Utah

2019:
Utah
@Tennessee
USC
Washington

With another game to schedule

2020:
@Utah
Michigan St
@ASU
@Minnesota
Missouri
@Stanford

With 2 games left to schedule

2021:
Arizona neutral
Utah
ASU
@Wazzu
Virginia
@USC
@Baylor

With 3 games left to schedule

Obviously the schedules are trending in the right direction. Some people like to say we could just schedule 4 P5 games if we were in a G5 but show me one G5 program that is able to do that. And the trend shows our schedules being filled with 6 or more P5 games which would be impossible to do in a G5.

Yes we need at least 8 P5 games. I think we can get there. 2021 has 7 with room to add more. It would not even be an option in a G5.

I think people just need a little patience. Going independent has been frustrating and it’s a huge project. It will take time but all the signs (other than on field results) are pointing in the right direction.

But again I ask, how would going G5 improve anything?
