You're right!! The gap between P4 and GX(the rest) will increase dramatically.
The gap between P4 and INDY will increase dramatically also, because they're basically the same (NOT P4). In fact, INDY is just garbage. INDY is BYU, UMASS, and ARMY. ND doesn't count. ND could be in any P4 conference they want in 10 minutes. If you polled college football fans, other than BYU fans, on which teams they respect more the AAC or Indy? I'm guessing 95% would say AAC, 85% MWC.
QUIT!!!!!!!!!!!!! INDY is not prestigious it's a joke. Start working on the AAC or BYU may end up in Conference USA. ESPN isn't going to pay a GX team $$$ when CF becomes all about the Super-Conferences.
This same, BYU is too good attitude is probably what KILLED BYU's chance for the BIG12 in 2012.
