I don't remember Hill taking too many passes fresh off of his mission.
Not trying to start a fight here, I'm just saying that your post seems to be saying that injuring a foot shouldn't effect passing at all. And I disagree. Using your legs is an important part of passing.
You can keep arguing all you want about the offense regressing under Detmer/pro style. There are valid arguments to be had. But arguing that a foot injury won't effect ability to practice throwing detracts from your argument.
