Ty went completely away from Squally for a full quarter

Squally ended the game with 11 carries and the RBs combined for 19 total carries. Compare that the the UNLV game where the backs combined for 37 total carries and squally had 25. How do go from a game plan against UNLV where you run the ball and ask you freshmen qb to manage the game, to running the ball 19 total times while attempting to throw 50+ times (Critchlow threw 45 but was sacked 7 times)? Sorry but Norm is either protecting Ty or has just completely lost his mind if he was okay with the game plan.
