I'm in much worse shape than I look
and I'm afraid that I'll never find motivation to fix it. For years, I played a lot of basketball or football or whatever with my sons. That kept me in good shape, but that's mostly gone now. I have no stamina. Something like jogging would help, but it's hard to find the motivation or time to do it.

I started lifting weights about 2 years ago and quickly gained about 20 pounds. I'd never been so heavy and it felt weird. Somehow, my stamina was great too without doing any sort of cardio work.
Then I injured both elbows racing my oldest sons (20s) on a kiddle climbing wall and stopped all weight lifting for about 6 months. DUring that time, I lost around 10 to 15 pounds.

I started back up again after that 6 month period, but I've scaled way back. I'm now up about 10 pounds from where my weight was 2 years ago. I feel great until I need to do any sort of running and then I run out of gas in about 5 minutes. It's terrible.

I'm far from fat, but that's not the same as being fit..
