Max is a real whammer jammer that has gotten better over each of the last two years. I expect to see marked improvement in 2009. I have not looked up the number of fumbles charged against Max, but there have far to many. Of course he's struggling to avoid a sack or scrambling towards the line...but he doesn't always take care of the pigskin, basic football.

I am sure, the teams BYU face in 2009 will test the new Oline early and often. They'll be coming for the sack and the strip. There will be enough dropped passes, tipped balls and confused routes out of the young recievers during the first few games till they settle in. When Max has to pull it down and run, he's gotta take care of the ball!!
