Different kind of QB. Let's see if he can do what
BJ did last season. I am guessing he won't. I've seen Hall in big games. He gets worse the bigger the game. Can he shake that? We will see.

So far, Hall has been second team all MWC. He will not be an all american, there are question marks about his draft status - something about college system and not tall enough.

BJ won the same number of games as Hall over the last two seasons. BJ was out for 5 games in 07' with injuries.

We have different types of QBs. Hall would not start at Utah. He is not mobile enough and he fumbles a lot. BJ would not have played had he been on BYU's roster.

As far as a pro-style QB, you may be right. That is the kind of QB BYU recruits. Althoug, Jordan Wynn may prove your theory wrong about Max and any QB on our roster.

Not knowing the QBs on Utah's roster, tough for you to really say.

Also, by the total yardage, BJ was not as good as Hall. We would take BJ over Hall any day of the week and twice on Saturday. BJ scored more points per game. Hall has yet to win a big game. Hall has yet to throw a TD pass against Utah. Hall feels the pressure and it shows. Don't know if just simply being a Sr. will help him overcome that.

BJ and the Utah QBs always seem to have the intangibles. Alex Smith had it all, BJ was simply a winner, next? My guess is that they may be good as well.

Now, let's compare defenses........
