The irony of it, is that ESPN is pushing hard for ESPNU

They don't put a lot of their ESPNU broadcasts on ESPN3.com because they are trying to increase subscriptions. Yet, they still have no trouble giving BYU rebroadcast rights because they understand that the overall contract value is worth it and there isn't much value in a football game after its been shown live.
