Fox doesn't like the limitations. The Big 12 doesn't like the logistical problems it may cause.

Don't take this as a malicious attack because it isn't one. But it makes no sense that TV partners would nix BYU due to rebroadcast concerns if the Big 12 and BYU hadn't even seriously talked about them yet.

It just didn't happen that way.
