I imagine the Taufi's, Monsen's, Afutiti's, Gaines'
Keoshian's, etc of the BYU world don't help. This is what bronco has to balance, raising the talent level while maintaining an acceptable APR. A kid like Sam Tevi- 3.1 GPA- is on the bubble at BYU. They have data that shows that at that level a young athlete "should" make it at BYU. I am sure that those grades predict a higher success rate at other schools. I wonder how HC casualties play into this as well.
