Are you realy in medicine as your name suggests? this isn't
hard. BYU football has a very large number of kids go on missions every year. all other sports do not have the same number of kids. Basketball is a good example. At any one times they may have 4 kids on missions. BYU at anyone time can have 20 plus on missions. that number affects football way more than a handful for another sport. It doesn't affect utah so much because utah has fewer and fewer of their kids actually go on missions soemthing I have made apoint of saying multiple times and is now supported by the numbers given in this post. this is possibly why whit pushes them towards not serving missions and why it is easy for these kids who in my opinion never wanted to serve in the first place.
