It is MY opinion that it is ironic and disingenuous in your post that you slam him for arrogance, and that the game has passed him by, and then turn around and wish him well. I don't know a lot of people that claims someone has become arrogant and then sincerely wishes them well, it just seems contradictory to me. Based on my experience, people are inclined to wish arrogant people will change to become humble.
