...annoying and hard to stomach. I was never a fan of the whole "players should recruit BYU" idea he had and his reluctance to fully recruit and chase some kids that he judged to be "entitled". I also wasn't a fan of how he blew off a lot of Lavell legacy players and lost out on a bunch of their kids (many ended up at Utah). It was like Whitt and the Utes enjoyed and benefitted from Lavell's legacy more than BYU at that point. Sitake has very quickly turning that back around.
