I agree with you most dont hate him and want him to succeed, however dubious we feel about that happening. That being said, once people mock him they step over the line into the haters camp, even if they deny it.

Its like jilted lovers syndrome that with their lips they say they hope hes happy and successful, but in their hearts they cackle with glee if he fails. There's some pretty petty and smug folks here on CB. I'm sure I'll be accused of that for saying so, but so be it.
