Let’s face it...you get the X7 because it will have more space, AWD, and more

Comfort for the family, and it will drive and handle better on the road than most SUVs. It is for going up to ski in the mountains.

If you want a real off-roader, the only real answer is always going to be a Range Rover. Those are truly off-road vehicles.

Still very excited for the X7.

GLS is the same platform as the WK2 grand Cherokee, I can't remember if the current gls has a low range.

Yeah, GLS can have the two-speed which is why I don't think BMW matched its capabilities.

Agreed, except the high end real off roader king is the g-wagon. Then the range, then LX570/200 series
