The new BMW X7 is great off road... as long as off road is an obstacle course set up in a paved parking lot...

GLS is the same platform as the WK2 grand Cherokee, I can't remember if the current gls has a low range.

Yeah, GLS can have the two-speed which is why I don't think BMW matched its capabilities.

Agreed, except the high end real off roader king is the g-wagon. Then the range, then LX570/200 series

My range rover stickered for $90 and my lx470 was close to $70 or $80, granted, I paid pennies on the dollar
