I agree 100% on mocking the academic claims FYI

Who would you have taken instead of Houston? Just out of curiosity

Boise
Memphis
USF
Fresno St
SDSU (keeping in mind it was prior to UCLA/USC leaving)
SMU

I think Houston is clearly the #4 of the added teams...but I also think they're the clear better option of what was available, based on viewership and on-field success
