BYU's USNews rank peaked at #61 in 2017, but some of the recent social "issues"
...being peer reviewed (account for 1/5 of the total score) may have influenced a recent decline, not necessarily academics.
Also, their acceptance rate (exclusivity) has increased slightly recently which also plays into the overall score
BYU has historically been in the 60s and low 70's until just recently

1) I doubt it did 2) who cares about markets? Markets don’t matter. Fanbases matter. Which is UCF’s strongest point

It’s not obvious. And there’s no data that says that it makes any real difference in college football.
