Altough I appreciate you recommending that I go back and watch the play agian, I can assure you as his Dad that I have! I watched it several times on the board at the stadium and probably 30 times on the recording of the game. I have never disputed the fact that he did not catch the ball (the way the rule states it). But he did have control, took 2 steps and then lost the ball on the way to the turf. Just because he caught it initially against his helmet does not mean he didn't have control!! Tyrek Evans and Martavious Bryant have proven that. I will also defer to people who know much more about football and the rule then you and i do. Chad Lewis, Dennis Pita and several of the coaches I have talked to have all said the same thing. He caught and had posession, but just didn't carry that posession through the catch to the ground. So we can agree to disagree about Dallins's catch. I do appreciate the comments which spark these converstaions and all the nice things that people have said about my son!! Go Cougars
