Bingo, this is the answer.

Caught it, took two steps, turned as he fell, ball came loose. Did he make a "football" move? Yes. Did he possess the ball for very long? No. Was there enough evidence to reverse the call on the field? Apparently the replay official thought so, but I didn't. I'm a byu fan, though.
