Utah is like the DFF at the dance who's so excited to be invited but has no shot as her attractive friends dance non-stop. It's no secret why they were invited to the PAC 10.2. Hill should commission a remington of BEVO for his office as a reminder of hitting the lottery.
As I've said from day 1, Utah will become over the long haul (at best) on par with Washington State, Arizona, CAL and CU. 2 years into it; they are the bottom feeders of the conference in both major sports. They will never recruit the same calibre atheltes as U$C, Oregon, UCLA or Stanford. While the payday is great and will lead to upgrades to their athletic facilities, no amount of lipstick will make the yewt pig a consistent contender. How long will an empty Huntsman Center and 5 win seasons; sitting home over bowl season work for ute fans? It's fun to be invited to the big boys table but not quite as enjoyable when you get your head handed to you non-stop.

Why don't we sit back and enjoy the slow burn on the hill and worry about our own team's inability to win big-time games. I like the path we're on, but BYU needs to close winnable games. Last season should have been a magical one with the defense we had. Conference consolidation is far from over but BYU will fare no better than Utah in a big boys arena without some significant upgrades in depth.
