Very easy to stop online services whenever you want. Just click a button and your subscription stops. So I just pay for what I want to watch and I dont want to watch much. Sling TV for the football season at $20/month, free week subscription to Hulu TV for the games on CBS sn, then shut it off at the end of the season. I can reactivate it for bball if I want but I'm not always that into bball. I'll get it again for the world cup. So over the next 12 months I'll pay $80-100 for TV. If I wanted to keep it every month of the year so I could watch flip or flop in HGTV during the off season, then yes, maybe not that different than Comcast. But still more convenient than having to deal w their annual attempt at increasing the price.
