I've got a 21 year-old son who is still figuring stuff out too.
His plans for the future vary from day to day. If he had a chance to play basketball in Italy for pay, he'd go for it immediately even if it meant lost opportunity that he'd regret 20 years later.

Those guys drafted in this year's draft will still be around, however, as will next year's. It only gets more difficult.
