Give a shred of evidence... He would've been one year older
Unless he had a Jimmer type senior season (VERY unlikely) another year hurts his draft stock
There is no evidence that him staying would've helped him play in the NBA

Maybe the plan, but I still think his strategy was flawed...

All I can surmise is that he must have really, really wanted out. I don't know

Oh, he wanted out. That's barely a secret...regarding injury

This. I don't understand why so many people on this board are defending him

I don't think it's fair to say it was a poor decision. It's definitely one that

False premise - you assume Mika's draft stock improves

I've got a 21 year-old son who is still figuring stuff out too.

He's already 22, his arms aren't getting any longer, and he isn't going to be more athletic. By staying, he's losing out

This. He has already missed out on 2 years of a (likely) 10-12 pro year career.

Those guys drafted in this year's draft will still be around, however, as will next year's. It only gets more difficult.

Maybe his rich dad has a sweet deal ready for him once he retires. Nepotism ftw.

Nepotism has such a negative connotation. But if his dad is going to support him
