But first rounders have guaranteed money and teams
have a reason to keep them on the roster. Every year players leave teams and there are open spots. It would have been MUCH easier for Eric to get drafted next year. I'm not sure how anyone can dispute that.

He's already 22, his arms aren't getting any longer, and he isn't going to be more athletic. By staying, he's losing out

Those guys drafted in this year's draft will still be around, however, as will next year's. It only gets more difficult.
