resulted in KS being fired, but TD keeping his job. If KS had been fired, like you insist he should have, then TD would have been fired as well. I know it is difficult for some of you emotional people to fathom this but TD was a subordinate of KS and he was simply in over his head. Now KS is being given one more season to turn things around or he is likely going to be fired as well. So he has to make drastic changes. That means addressing the biggest problem - the offense! Yes, there are other problems that need to be addressed as well. The defense may have been lackluster but it wasn't the main issue and KS cant fire his entire staff. The defense was good enough to justify giving them another year, which is all any of them are going to get if they don't win more than 4 games next year, and that is not going to happen without a major overhaul of the offense, which is why TD was dismissed. It's a sad thing because TD is a legend of the program, as well as an all-around great guy, but it was the right decision for KS to make and I think most of us would have made the same decision if we were in his shoes. Now he has to follow up on that decision with another good decision of who to hire as TD's replacement. If he gets it wrong then that will seal his own fate.
