Amen, I agree, You will not recognize BYU football, they will be awesome

BYU is going to do well on both sides of the ball, defence and offense, sometimes it takes a SEASON to rethink things to be competitive going forward.

In 1941, pearl harbor reawakened AMERICA and became a sleeping giant, the same will happen to BYU and fans will look back and see that the 2017 helped BYU to become a team that could compete at a higher level.

BYU was not prepared to contend with power house teams, that being said I hope the schedule does not push BYU into another 3 in a row situation against the countries TOP teams.  As an independent school BYU is not going to have the ideal schedule because all the good teams want to play BYU at the beginning of the season, this will be a challenge regardless of how good BYU is.

The 2018 schedule looks great, I like the idea of playing UTAH at the end of the season rather than the beginning. If BYU can pull off a win against ARIZONA on the road that will really add momentum to BYU's football program.

2018 SCHEDULE

Sept. 1 — at Arizona

Sept. 8 — California

Sept. 15 — at Wisconsin

Sept. 22 — McNeese State

Sept. 29 — at Washington

Oct. 5 — Utah State

Oct. 13 — Hawaii

Oct. 27 — Northern Illinois

Nov. 3 — at Boise State

Nov. 10 — vs. UMass at Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, Mass.

Nov. 17 — New Mexico State

Nov. 24 — at Utah
