Team culture starts with the HC. If discipline and accountability are gone and the team has no fire or spark, the HC is doing something WAY wrong. That has nothing to do with assistants, conference affiliation, opponents, etc. That is completely an internal issue he HAS to get right this year, from the get go. To me, if September is as bad as last year with the above issues, he should be let go before the end of the season because that shows a complete lack of ability to lead and manage. I hope (and expect) he will do better, and that he will improve much the way KWhitt did after his lackluster start. But if vast improvement is not shown immediately, he needs to be shown the door.
