And there is little to no sign of it. It simply boils down to just bad decision making and micromanagement. There are a lot of individuals in a position of importance that's only qualification is just being LDS.

Holmoe is living on borrowed time at this point... should have been gone shortly after the job to Independence. He has no business running this show this far into it. But sadly, he'll just get replaced by another yes man and not much else will change.

I think at the end of the day, it's not that the leaders of the church want the athletic program gone, it's just extremely poorly managed. We are stepping on rakes at every turn right now. 2011 was an absolute gut punch to the program when we pulled ourselves out of talks with the BIGXII... on the grounds that we were scared. And those same people are still calling shots today. Think about that for a second.
