Yes, maybe football is currently in the middle of a re-group and men’s basketball is sort of stagnant, but virtually every other sport on campus are experiencing some of their greatest most successful periods in their program’s histories. We’ve had both men’s and women’s volleyball play for National Championships in recent years (men 3x), men’s and women’s T&F are national ranked, XC is ranked, women’s vball has been to the sweet sixteen for the past several seasons, women’s golf was nationally ranked recently and went to the NCAA tourney, women’s gymnastics is currently nationally ranked, women’s soccer has recently been to a final four and are ranked nearly every season, men’s rugby are mutliple National Champions, women’s rugby recently played in the national championship, men’s baseball was nationally ranked in recent years, has won the WCC and played in the CWS, women’s softball is regularly ranked as well.
I don’t think we’ve had this many sports teams doing so well ever at BYU.
