Money would be lost, yet we would suddenly find ourselves as the best funded
institution in our chosen peer group rather than the most poorly funded.
This, combined with the fact that we’d actually have a realistic chance at a meaningful bowl game, is more than enough to compensate for a couple million dollars of lost revenue. Not to mention the positive impact on the basketball program going to the AAC would bring.
