Just be glad that football players don't do this or there wouldn't be a football team.  It is not worth the time or money for a school to invest in a sports program that is simply a 2 year audition program for talented players. 

It defeats the whole purpose of why these programs are created in the first place.  Teams and players are part of the school spirit and when players can bail out, it means they are only interested in their own personal success at the expense of the school.
